Multiple scholarships are available to CCT students.
Cochrane Telephone Co-Op Scholarship
Each year, Cochrane Co-op Telephone awards (2) $1,500 scholarships for a 4-year college applicant and (2) $750 scholarships for a 2-year college or trade school applicant.
Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship (FRS)
Since 1994, the FRS has worked to help as many people and communities across the nation as possible. We believe that the future of our rural communities is intrinsically linked to the future of our nation as a whole. The foundation annually awards scholarships to an exceptional group of rural students for their first year of college or vocational school. All applicants require sponsorship by an NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association member company to be eligible. FRS has awarded over $1 million in scholarships since its inception; empowering rural students throughout the country to advance their communities with invaluable skill sets and experiences.
The value of the scholarships ranges from $500-$9,000, based on a variety of criteria. One application qualifies a student for all available FRS scholarships.
Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation, Inc. Scholarship (WSTF)
The purpose of the Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization, is to promote educational and scientific advancement by helping individuals obtain instructions or training to improve and develop their capabilities. The value of the WSTF scholarships ranges from $750 to $1,500, based on certain criteria. One application qualifies a student for all available WSTF scholarships.
